This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (NIH-CC) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with the following vendor: Bard Peripheral Vascular Inc. Acquisition Description: Procurement of BD Mission? Disposable Core Biopsy Instrument (semi-automatic, single-use) for use in Interventional Radiology image-guided core needle biopsy procedures. Device is compatible with the BD TruGuide? Disposable Coaxial Biopsy Needle and is available in 14G?20G gauges and 6?25 cm lengths to accommodate a range of lesion depths and target sites. Features include Advanced Echogenic Technology for enhanced ultrasound visibility, a Fire Ready Indicator, and a penetration depth indicator (10mm/20mm presets). Core Function: Supplies required: BD Mission? Disposable Core Biopsy Instrument(s), single-use, sterile, for IR core needle biopsy procedures.
